We have Limia 1320 and the name is not on the list. We are a bit disappointed because our smartphone didn’t get any updates despite investing around Rs. 15000. The device is still running Windows Phone 8.1, which is almost outdated since the support lifecycle ended in July.
Commenting on the development, Joe Belfiore, Corporate Vice President, Microsoft disclosed that company is on the right track in its dream towards pursuing mobile platforms. He admitted that the efforts of the company to motivate developers to develop apps for the Windows Phone platform failed.
It remains to be seen as to when the company will release the rumored Surface Phone, which was touted to ship with a Snapdragon processor and 8GB RAM. It would be difficult for the company to regain the lost market share.
