Nvidia has announced the launch of the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 Ti graphics card at $449. The card is currently available for pre-order and will ship on November 2 in all countries including India.
Tagged in between the GeForce GTX 1070 and 1080, the newly launched graphics card is a high-end premium model. The company has established partnerships with Asus, MSI, Zotac, Palit, PNY, Gigabyte and Inno3D for the launch of the GeForce GTX 1070 Ti.
With GPU design codenamed GP104, the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 Ti includes 2432 active CUDA cores divided into 19 clusters. The Nvidia has termed the cores as streaming multiprocessors.
Even though the default speed is 1607MHz, the card is capable of cranking up to 1683MHz. Moreover, the new card makes use of 8Gbps GDDR5 RAM, which is slower than the 10Gbps GDDR5X included with the GTX 1080.
According to Nvidia, the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 Ti make use of the blower style stock cooler with an ability for the manufacturers to release customized versions. The graphics card is capable of delivering extreme performance. The company added that the GTX 1070 Ti will work with 2x power when compared with the GeForce GTX 970.

The company claims that Rise of the Tomb Raider game is capable of playing at 51.4fps, Fallout in 103.2fps. When it comes to The Witcher 3:Wild Hunt, the game will play at 69.7fps.
With an overall power capacity of 180W, the customized versions of the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 Ti will ship with enhanced clock speeds with robust power including custom circuits. The card ships with one DVI and HDMI ports paired with three DisplayPorts.
