Meizu has released a new variant of the Meizu M6 Note in exclusive partnership with JD.com. The new model comes with 4GB RAM coupled with 32GB internal storage and it has been listed on the site. If you are unaware, Meizu M6 Note is the most popular budget-friendly smartphones of 2017.
The new 4GB RAM variant will be useful for customers who carve for more memory to play games and work with apps without any major lags. The smartphone only ships with 32GB storage, which will turn into 25GB for consumption. The company should at least integrate 64GB storage to compensate for the enhanced RAM. It doesn’t make any sense to release a 4GB RAM phone with only 32GB storage.
Priced at CNY 1499 ($226), the Meizu M6 Note will be available in Obsidian Black and Peacock Blue color variants. As part of the launch offer, Meizu has bundled freebies such as a tempered protective glass, flip case including Meizu ME20 wired headphones.
In terms of specifications, the Meizu M6 Note is equipped with a 5.5-inch HD display, Snapdragon 625 processor, Adreno 506 graphics and dual rear cameras. Moreover, the smartphone is powered by a 4000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging technology.
The smartphone also comes with Android 7.1.2 Nougat on top of Flyme user interface. It is to be noted that the processor is manufactured based on 14nm manufacturing process.
To recall, the Meizu M6 Note was launched in 3GB and 4GB RAM variants. While the 3GB RAM model was made available in 16GB and 32GB storage models, the 4GB RAM model was shipped with 64GB internal storage.
The launch of the 4GB RAM with 32GB storage is a step in the right direction since it will help customers to take advantage of the high memory. The 32GB storage is sufficient for storing plenty of files including images and videos.
