Vodafone has announced a strategic partnership with Reliance Communications to enable portability. As part of the portability scheme, Reliance customers can easily migrate to Vodafone without changing the existing phone number. The main purpose of the package is to help customers to easily port to Vodafone for enhanced connectivity without any major network shutdown.
Vodafone has thrown open the portability offer for all customers based in Kerala, UP West, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh & Telangana, Haryana, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra & Goa, Karnataka, UP East, UP West, and Rajasthan.
If you are a Reliance communications customer, you need to navigate to network settings and manually select Vodafone network. You should generate MNP code by sending an SMS to 1900 with the message – PORT <Your Reliance Number>. The next step is to submit the MNP code along with all the mandatory documents and photographs at the nearest Vodafone shop. Moreover, Vodafone also released a new toll-free number to assist customers in case if they require any help.
Commenting on the development, Avneesh Khosla, Associate Director – Consumer Business, Vodafone India disclosed that the company is trying to provide maximum value to customers not only in terms of service but also location and network.
Khosla added that the company is excited to extend the benefits of having a reliable network connectivity and the new portability plan is in tune with the aim of the company to achieve the objective. The portability package will be useful for users who face network shutdown.
After the successful completion of the portability, existing Reliance communications customers will be able to enjoy exciting data and voice offers at budget-friendly prices.
