Honor is scheduled to unveil Honor V10 in London on December 5. The main highlight of Honor V10 is the integration of a bezel-less display, Kirin 970 processor alongside 6GB RAM. Like in the case of other competing smartphones, the Honor V10 will also bear an 18:9 aspect ratio, which will provide an excellent visual experience.
The company has started to send media invites for the launch and it shows the display of the rumored smartphone with very thin bezels. We can spot small bezels on the top and bottom portion with the negligible bezel on the left and right sides.
Honor V10 Specifications
On the specifications front, the Honor V10 is equipped with a large 5.99-inch 18:9 full-screen display, Kirin 970 processor, 6GB RAM coupled with both 64GB and 128GB internal storage variants.
While the rear side will feature dual camera sensors comprising of 16MP and 20MP sensors, the front camera will beat an 8MP sensor identical to that of the Honor V9 smartphone. In addition to LED FLash, the device will offer support for laser autofocus and 4K video recording.
According to rumors, the upcoming Honor V10 will provide support for 22.5W fast charging technology and will be pre-loaded with Android 8.0 Oreo-based on EMUI 6.0 user interface. The handset will be powered by the 4000mAh battery, which will be capable of delivering a backup of more than four days upon normal usage.
Even though we don’t have any confirmation about the pricing, the rumor mills suggest that the Honor V10 will cost RMB 3000, which equates to RS. 30000. The phone will likely compete with the likes of OnePlus 5T, which is also rumored to ship with a bezel-less display.
Nowadays, companies are manufacturing bezel-less smartphones in a bid to push sales. The emergence of handsets with 18:9 aspect ratio gained importance after the launch of Xiaomi Mi Mix and Samsung Galaxy S8 series. We can now see a heavy flow of Chinese companies selling out full display smartphones with stunning features and smartphones. DOOGEE is currently selling out their Mix 2 smartphone with four cameras. The upcoming OnePlus 5T, Samsung Galaxy S9 series will also ship with bezel-less display and the trend will continue.
