Alcatel has launched the Alcatel A5 LED and A7 smartphones in India. The Alcatel A5 LED smartphone was originally launched at the MWC 2017 in February 2017. The highlight of the Alcatel A5 LED is the integration of a semi-modular jack coupled with snap-on rear covers such as LIGHTUP+ MOD and POWER+ MOD comprising of 3100mAh battery.

The Alcatel A5 LED is equipped with a 5.2-inch IPS HD display, MediaTek MT6753 processor, 3GB RAM, 16GB expandable internal storage loaded with Android Marshmallow. The rear camera features a 13MP f/2.0 aperture sensor paired with support for dual tone LED flash. However, the front camera beats a 5MP camera with fixed focus lens and LED flash.
Powered by a 3100mAh battery, the Alcatel A5 LED provides support for 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and standard sensors. The product package includes LIGHTUP+ MOD, which automatically activates and produces series of patterns and display notifications. The company also pre-loaded a dedicated mobile app, which helps you to customize the settings of the LED lighting and modules.
Alternatively, if you would like to buy the POWERUP+ MOD, you need to pay Rs. 3999. As part of the launch offer, the POWERUP+ module will also be included in the product box. The Alcatel A5 is available for INR 12999.
Alcatel A7
In terms of specifications, the Alcatel A7 features a 5.5-inch FHD IPS display, MediaTek processor, 4GB RAM, 32GB expandable internal storage. While the rear side is equipped with a 16MP camera with support for dual-tone LED flash, the front camera bears an 8MP sensor. A 4000mAh battery supplies adequate power to the device.
The Alcatel A7 will be available for INR 13999. To attract customers, the company will bundle a free TCL Moveband fitness tracker worth INR 2499. However, the freebies are available only for a limited time. Moreover, customers will receive an additional 20GB Reliance Jio 4G data package in addition to one-time free screen replacement.
