Infinix Zero 5 with bezel less display launch: Everything you want to know

Infinix is scheduled to launch the next-generation Infinix Zero 5 smartphone on November 14 at an event to be held in Dubai. The smartphone will be made available probably exclusively via Flipkart soon after the official launch. The device will be available in Black, Gold color variants in addition to Red.

The Infinix Zero 5 will feature a 5.98-inch FHD bezel-less edge-to-edge Corning Gorilla Glass protected display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The latest trend in the market is bezel-less and Infinix is set to enter this segment in a bid to attract customers.

Likely to be powered by a MediaTek P25 processor, the Infinix Zero 5 will be equipped with 6GB RAM alongside 64GB expandable storage capacity. The processor will run at a clock speed of 2.6GHz, which helps you to play games without any lags.

The highlight of Infinix Zero 5 will be the addition of a dual camera mechanism on the rear side comprising of 12MP and 13MP sensors. While the primary camera sensor will have telephoto lens, the secondary lens includes a wide-angle lens with 2x optical zoom.

On the front, we expect the integration of a 16MP sensor. To add disappointment, the Zero 5 will be pre-loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat and not Android Oreo. However, the company has promised that the Android Oreo update will be pushed within the next few month. A 4350mAh battery will supply adequate power to the smartphone.

Based on the specifications, we expect the cost of the Infinix Zero 5 to be around $300 (INR 20000) and will be available by the first week of December. According to Gizbot, the company has established a partnership with two e-commerce retailers making a deviation from the Flipkart exclusive.

In addition to standard sensors such as accelerometer, the Infinix Zero 5 also includes ambient light sensor, gyroscope, gravity and hall sensors including e-compass.

To watch the live event, navigate to the company’s official Facebook page at 6 PM Dubai time (7.30PM IST). We will continue to keep track of the developments. Stay tuned.
