Ultimate Ears has announced the launch of the UE Megaboom Bluetooth speaker in Black Charcoal and Lava Red color variants at Rs. 19995. Dubbed as UE Megaboom, the new speaker will be available exclusively on Amazon India from November 20.
The main highlight of the UE Megaboom Bluetooth speaker is the ability to establish connectivity with dual wireless speakers via Bluetooth. It is possible to connect one Megaboom with the source of your choice via UE app. Moreover, you can also create a Left and Right channel for stereo effect.
The UE Megaboom speaker is capable of delivering rich bass and sounding experience in 360-degrees. The accessory is also compatible with all Bluetooth-enabled devices within a range of 100ft. The LED indicator helps you to know when you should charge the speaker.
The main attraction of the speaker is the integration of AUX functionality using which you can connect non-Bluetooth gadgets. Moreover, the speaker is also resistant to water via IPX7 technology. The highlight is that it is possible to immerse the speaker in water up to 1m for up to 30 minutes.
The UE Megaboom speaker has been integrated with dual drivers and 2×4 Passive Radiators, which is capable of producing a 90dbA sound output, which is the maximum. Moreover, the speaker offers a frequency range between 65Hz – 20kHz. The battery infused with the speaker is capable of delivering up to 20 hours and can be charged within two hours.
The weight of the UE Megaboom speaker is around 877 grams, which is comparatively higher than other standard speakers. The recently launched Amazon Echo itself measures around 800 grams, which serves as not only a smart speaker but also ordinary Bluetooth speaker.
The need for a premium Bluetooth speaker like UE Megaboom assumes great importance after the arrival of the Amazon Echo series in India. Even though Amazon Echo includes a big speaker, tech enthusiasts carve for more sound for an awesome sounding experience.
