A new Windows 10 laptop manufactured by HP and powered by a Snapdragon 835 processor has been spotted on the official website of the HP. With model number 2US29AV, the new laptop has surfaced on HP Care Pack Services page on the official website. According to the listing, the new laptop will be powered by a Snapdragon 835 processor.
Microsoft had confirmed that they will be launching new Windows 10 laptops with Snapdragon processor in partnership with HP, Asus, and Lenovo. According to a senior Microsoft manager, who declined to reveal the identity, the Windows 10 laptops with Snapdragon 835 processor will be capable of offering prolonged battery life.
With the surfacing of the Windows 10 laptop on the official website, the launch of the device is imminent. However, we don’t have any confirmation as to when the company will launch the laptop.
The Care Pack Services page clearly states that the laptop will be integrated with a Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB RAM coupled with 128GB storage space. The pack is valued at $199 with the standard three-year pickup and return support.
Based on the available rumors, the Windows 10 laptop powered by a Snapdragon 835 processor will be equipped with a 12-inch display comprising of 4GB and 8GB RAM variants. While the 4GB model will have 128GB storage, you can expect 256GB in the 8GB RAM model. The highlight of the laptop will be the fact that it will provide support for running Universal Windows Platform (UWP) applications.
That being said, the Windows 10 powered laptop with Snapdragon 835 processor will not find light until early January 2018. You should note that Snapdragon chipsets are smaller than conventional Intel processors. Hence, companies will be able to fit extra components such as batteries with enhanced capacity.
According to Qualcomm, the laptop integrated with Snapdragon processor will be able to deliver extended working time of up to 18 hours. Hence, the laptop will be ideal for traveling and computing on the go inside the car or flight.
