Infinix Zero 5

Infinix has released Infinix Zero 5 and Zero 5 Pro smartphones in Bordeaux Red, Sandstone Black, and Champagne Gold color variants. The main highlight of the Infinix Zero 5 series is the addition of 6GB RAM coupled with dual cameras on the rear side. Moreover, the camera sensor provides support for optical zoom and portrait mode.


The Infinix Zero 5 and Pro variants are equipped with a 5.98-inch FHD 2.5D curved glass display, Helio P25 processor alongside 6GB RAM. The display is enhanced with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, which prevents damages caused due to scratches. The processor runs at a clock speed of 2.6GHz, which is sufficient for working with apps and playing games.

Core difference

The main difference between Infinix Zero 5 and Zero 5 Pro is that integration of a 64GB and 128GB internal storage capacities respectively. If you would like to buy a device with large storage, then you should opt for Zero 5 Pro. The highlight is that you can even expand the storage up to 128GB using microSD card. Hence, you will have access to 256GB if you purchase Zero 5 Pro model.

Camera specifications

On the optics front, both the Infinix Zero 5 and Zero 5 Pro features dual cameras on the rear side. The primary camera sensor includes a 12MP Sony IMX386 sensor paired with f/2.0 aperture and dual LED Flash. However, the secondary camera offers a higher 13MP telephoto lens sensor alongside f/2.6 aperture. Furthermore, the camera provides support for 2x optical zoom. The interesting fact is that the selfie camera includes a 16MP sensor with support for LED Flash.

In addition to a fingerprint sensor on the rear, the newly launched smartphones ships with support for 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, GLONASS including a traditional headphone port. Even though the company has released two separate smartphones, the battery capacity is same at 4350mAh. Additionally, the battery offers support for fash charging via USB Type-C port.

Pricing & Availability

Like in the case of the Infinix Note 4, the company has established a partnership with Flipkart to push sales. The Infinix Zero 5 will be available on November 22 at 12 AM IST at Rs. 17999. The Pro variant with 128GB storage has been priced at Rs. 19999.
