Xiaomi has added two new power banks to its kitty with the launch of a 20000mAh and 10000mAh Mi Power Bank 2i at Rs. 799 and Rs. 1499 respectively. Touted as Made in India accessory, the new Mi Power Bank 2i series are completely manufactured from inside the newly established Noida plant.
According to Xiaomi, the new Mi Power Bank 2i are tested under extreme conditions with 9 levels of production testing coupled with 3 stages of professional inspection. Moreover, the Noida plant is capable of manufacturing seven power banks per minute.
The Xiaomi 10000mAh Mi Power Bank 2i is equipped with dual USB output with support for two way quick charging functionality. Hence, you will be able to charge multiple devices at the same time. Xiaomi has manufactured the accessory in a such a way that it is lightweight and easy to carry around places.
The Mi Power Bank 2i features 9 layers of world-class circuit chip protection, optimized charging, premium conversion rate infused with lithium polymer battery. The charger is designed using double anodized aluminium case for ultimate protection paired with low weight and thin profile.
During the launch event, Xiaomi disclosed that the 10000mAh Mi Power Bank 2i has an overall output capacity of 6500mAh, which offers an overall conversion rate of more than 90%. The powerbank is compatible with a wide range of charging outputs such as 5V/2A, 9V/2A, and 12V/1.5A. The power bank is designed in such a way to establish connectivity with laptops, smartphones, tablets and other portable devices.

With the help of the 20000mAh Mi Power Bank 2i, it is possible to charge smartphones, tablets, and laptops using the integrated dual USB output. The power bank also provides Quick Charge 3.0 support provided you use a single port for charging your device. The charger is manufactured using perforated exterior to provide a comfortable fit. Moreover, the power bank is capable of resisting scratches.
While the 10000mAh Mi Power Bank 2i is available at Rs. 799, the 20000mAh Mi Power Bank 2i will be priced at Rs. 1499. You will be able to buy the new power banks starting November 23 on Mi.com, Flipkart, Amazon including several offline retail stores.
Xiaomi has also established a partnership with cashify for the exchange of old smartphones. The deal works out in such a way that you can exchange old smartphones for the purchase of a new handset only from Mi Home Store in India.
