Oppo has launched the much-awaited Oppo F5 Youth in the Philippines. The specifications of the Oppo F5 Youth smartphone is more or less the same except the fact that there is a minor difference in the RAM and storage capacity. The Oppo F5 Youth is equipped with a 6-inch LTPS FHD+ display with a resolution of 2160×1080 pixels. With 18:9 aspect ratio, the smartphone bears a pixel density of 402PPI.
Powered by an MT6763T processor, the Oppo F5 Youth features a Mali G71 MP2 graphics processor, 3GB RAM and 32GB expandable internal storage. The device is pre-loaded with ColorOS 3.2, which is based on Android 7.1 Nougat. Moreover, the smartphone gets the required power via the integrated 3200mAh battery, which is capable of delivering up to five days of backup time upon normal usage. Oppo hasn’t enabled fast charging and you can charge only via micro-USB port.
While the rear side features a 13MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture, the front-facing camera flaunts a 16MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture accompanied by LED Flash. The attraction of the selfie camera is that the sensor is integrated with AI beautification technology.
With Oppo F5 Youth, you will work with ColorOS 3.2, which is based on Android 7.1 Nougat. Hence, you will be able to work with features such as split-screen, improved notifications, enhanced Doze power saving mode in addition to night shield and DND gaming modes. The F5 Youth is specially designed to reduce eye strain in dark environments.
In addition to Wi-Fi, the Oppo F5 Youth provides support for Bluetooth, GPS, headphone port and dual nano-SIM card slots. The device also includes a fingerprint sensor on the rear alongside Face Unlock recognition technology. The notable difference between the Oppo F5 and the Youth variant is the absence of antenna lines. Moreover, the phone also includes standard sensors such as proximity, light, G-sensor, and E-compass.
Available in Gold and Black color variants, the Oppo F5 Youth is available for purchase for PHP 13990, which equates to $275.
