According to The Android Soul, the Android Nougat update with software build number C500ZCU1BQJ2 is being rolled over the air. However, it will take few days for the update to hit your smartphone depending on the location.

After the installation of the update, you will be able to work with split-screen multitasking, customisable settings, enhanced Google keyboard and notifications in addition to the recent application’s window. The Android Nougat also includes Double Tap functionality on the Recent button to swap between the two most recent apps. This feature will be useful if you would like to know the apps you have used recently.

The main highlight of the Android Nougat is the integration of the Doze on the go functionality, which helps you to save substantial power. Moreover, the Doze feature will also work even if your device is inside the pocket.

On the specifications front, the Samsung Galaxy C5 features a 5.2-inch FHD Super AMOLED display, Snapdragon 617 processor, Adreno 405 graphics, 4GB RAM, 32GB/64GB expandable internal storage loaded with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

Samsung has integrated a 2600mAh battery with fast charging capability. Hence, you will be able to charge the device quickly. The fingerprint sensor housed on the physical home button helps you to quickly unlock the smartphone.

In addition to 4G LTE, the Samsung Galaxy C5 provides support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC including a micro USB port. The phone measures 6.7mm thickness, which is less than competing devices.
