Xiaomi’s upcoming Desh ka Smartphone will be available exclusively on Flipkart. The rumor assumes significance with the e-commerce retailer releasing several teasers regarding the availability of the smartphone. The Desh ka Smartphone is expected to launch on November 30 with a massive battery life when compared to other competing devices.
Tagged with #DeshkaSmartphone, the upcoming smartphone will have a large battery life and is being termed as the solution. Flipkart also opened a separate landing page exposing the core feature of the smartphone. The phone will have a solution for low battery woes and the home-grown online retailer has specified the phrase ‘Low battery‘ in several languages.
You need not have to expect a 5.5-inch display but the phone will certainly ship with 4000mAh battery, which is a huge bonus for people on the go. We expect the new handset will provide support for several languages.
According to Flipkart, the Xiaomi Desh ka Smartphone will be equipped with the smart solution for multitasking. However, we don’t have any information about the processor expected to include with the handset. We expect the integration of an advanced Snapdragon chipset, which will enable you to work with multiple apps effectively.
Flipkart also released two short videos, which showcase the real purpose of the new features related to battery and multitasking. The first video examines the battery related stuff and towards the end, it says the new phone is coming soon.
The second video provided at the end of the landing page examines the use of multitasking in a funny way.
Recently, Manu Kumar Jain, Managing Director, Xiaomi India took to Twitter and disclosed that a new affordable smartphone in the pipeline and will find limelight soon via a teaser.
The official Redmi India Twitter account was also abuzz with the teaser and the company provided a vital clue about the power efficiency of the new ‘Desh ka Smartphone’. Moreover, the company also confirmed that the new device will be Redmi branded.
The launch of Desh ka Smartphone assumes great importance in the wake of the surge in digital transactions. Moreover, the growth of Xiaomi has risen substantially even after Demonetization by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Jain also announced on Twitter that they have started to ship orders placed via Mi.com to Kerala, which was not serviced by the company due to logistics issues.
According to estimates, Xiaomi has so far shipped over 9.2 million smartphone units until Q3 2017. The company also launched its third manufacturing facility in Noida, which will exclusively manufacturer Make in India power banks.
