Asus ZenFone Max Plus (M1) launched: Everything you need to know

Asus has launched the much anticipated Asus ZenFone Max Plus (M1) smartphone. The main attraction of the handset is the addition of a 5.7-inch bezel-less display with 18:9 aspect ratio. Moreover, the Asus ZenFone Max Plus (M1) will also be equipped with dual cameras on the rear. To begin with, the handset is listed in Russia but is expected to launch in other markets within the next few days.

Display

The Asus ZenFone Max Plus (M1) is equipped with a 5.7-inch IPS FHD+ display with a resolution of 2160×1080 pixels coupled with an 18:9 aspect ratio. If you don’t have a budget to buy premium Samsung Galaxy S8, then you can buy Asus smartphone.

Performance

Powered by a MediaTek MT6750T processor, the Asus ZenFone Max Plus (M1) will be available in both 2GB and 3GB RAM variants paired with 16GB and 32GB expandable internal storage variants. You will be able to extend the storage up to 256GB using microSD card.

Camera

The rear side is integrated with dual camera sensors comprising of 16MP and 8MP sensors with f/2.0 aperture and 120-degree wide-angle lens. You will be able to capture awesome landscape and group photos using the ZenFone Max Plus (M1) smartphone. On the front side, you will find an 8MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture lens. The camera app includes several features such as smoothing, lightening, skin toning in addition to eye correction to enhance the appearance of the selfies.

Battery

The 4130mAh battery integrated with the ZenFone Max Plus (M1) is capable of delivering up to 26 hours of talk time and 13 hours of video playback on a single charge. The Asus PowerMaster functionality included with the device provides an ability to enhance the battery life by two times and can retain up to 500 cycles of complete discharge.

Operating platform

The phone is pre-loaded with ZenUI on top of Android 7.0 Nougat. The smartphone also includes a face unlocking mechanism using which you can unlock the handset quickly. In addition to Wi-Fi, the handset also provides support for Bluetooth, A-GPS and micro-USB port. Furthermore, you can also work with the fingerprint scanner.

Pricing

We don’t have any information about the pricing of the Asus ZenFone Max Plus (M1). However, the phone will be made available in Sunny Golden, Azure Silvery, and Black Wave color variants.
