Vodafone has established a partnership with Micromax in a bid to accelerate the overall adoption rates of 4G smartphones at the entry level. As part of the deal, Vodafone has announced exciting cashback offers on a wide range of entry-level Micromax 4G smartphone models.
If you are an existing or new customer of Vodafone, you will be able to avail cashback offers on purchase of the Bharat 2 Plus, Bharat 3, Bharat 4 and Canvas 1 smartphones. The catch is that you need to recharge the handset for Rs. 150 per month for 36 months.
After 18 months, you will be eligible to receive a cashback of Rs. 900. You will be paid another lot of Rs. 1300 after another 18 months from the expiry of the first time slot. Hence, you will receive a total cashback of Rs. 2200 after 36 months of purchase of the eligible smartphone, which will be credited to your Vodafone M-Pesa wallets.
Commenting on the development, Avneesh Khosla, Associate Director – Consumer Business, Vodafone India disclosed that the new cash back initiative is launched to democratize access to Vodafone SuperNet 4G. Khosla added that they have launched an affordable smartphone at Rs. 999 in collaboration with Micromax. As a customer, you can avail special cash back offer for additional four entry-level Micromax 4G smartphones.
The purpose of the cashback offer is to motivate and encourage phone users to upgrade to a smartphone. Moreover, they can be able to leverage the rich advantage of the Vodafone SuperNet 4G.
To recall, Vodafone and Micromax recently unveiled lowes priced 4G Bharat2 Ultra smartphone bundled with Vodafone SuperNet 4G connectivity for Rs. 999. The Bharat2 Ultra is capable of offering improved display, camera and battery to enable beginners to work with the device at a price they can afford.
