Xiaomi has released the Redmi 5A #DeshKaSmartphone on November 30 at Rs. 5999 and Rs. 7999 respectively. During the launch event, Xiaomi Vice President Manu Kumar Jain announced exciting offers for customers to the tune of Rs. 500 crore.
As part of the deal, Xiaomi will provide a discount of Rs. 1000 for customers who purchase Redmi 5A. However, the offer will be valid only for the first five million units of the Redmi 5A. If you purchase Redmi 5A initially, you will be able to purchase the device at a discount of Rs. 1000. Hence, you will be able to buy the handset at Rs. 4999 and Rs. 6999 respectively for the 2GB and 3GB RAM variants.
On the specifications front, the Xiaomi Redmi 5A is equipped with a 5-inch HD display, Snapdragon 425 processor, 13MP rear camera, 5M front camera loaded with MIUI 9 based on Android 7.1 Nougat. The device gets the required power from the integrated 3000mAh battery, which is capable of delivering a standby time of 8 days.
While the 2GB RAM variant is available for 16GB, the 3GB RAM model is equipped with 32GB storage capacity. Designed with a metallic matte finish, the Make in India brand smartphone will be available in Gold, Dark Grey, and Rose Gold color variants.
The newly launched Xiaomi Redmi 5A will be available from December 7 on Flipkart and Mi.com. Alternatively, the company also announced the device will be available from retail outlets such as Poorvika, Sangeetha, UniverCell, and E-zone within the next few days.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is regarded as the best selling smartphone in India and is available via both Flipkart, Mi.comand other retail stores.
