Huawei Nova 2s with FullView Display Launch: Features and Specifications

Huawei is gearing up to launch Huawei Nova 2s smartphone with FullView display and four cameras in China on December 7. Interestingly, it’s on the same day Honor 7X will launch in London alongside Xiaomi Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus smartphones. Honor is the budget smartphone company under Huawei. According to PhoneRadar, the Huawei Nova 2s is expected to ship with premium specifications and the launch has been confirmed on December 7.


Huawei Nova 2s will be manufactured with glass back body and the fingerprint sensor has been integrated on to the physical home button.


The Huawei Nova 2s will feature a 6-inch FullView FHD+ display with a resolution of 2160×1080 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio. The main advantage is the large display with higher resolution. You will be able to work with apps and games easily.


Powered by a Kirin 960 processor, the Huawei Nova 2s ships with the Mali-G71 MP8‎ graphics processor, 6GB RAM paired with both 64GB and 128GB expandable internal storage. The processor will run at a clock speed of more than 2GHz and will be based on octa-core technology.


On the rear, you will find dual camera sensors comprising of 20MP and 16MP capacities with support for LED Flash and f/1.8 aperture. The front side flaunts a 20MP camera with support for soft LED flash. The integration of massive 20MP sensor on the front side is a big advantage because the user will be able to capture beautiful and attractive selfies. here are reports that the smartphone will carry a secondary 2MP sensor on the front with Face Unlock mechanism.

Operating platform

If you would like to work with Android 8.0 Oreo, you can cheer because the Huawei Nova 2s will be pre-loaded with Oreo on top of EMUI 8.0. In addition to the fingerprint sensor, the Nova 2s also includes a dedicated audio chipset and the Hi-Fi stereo output coupled with NFC functionality. You will be able to use the smartphone for performing transactions via Huawei Pay.
