Vodafone Free Wi-Fi Enabled Bus Shelter

Vodafone has launched the first free Wi-Fi enabled bus shelter at Sector 18, Noida by Alok Verma (Business Head – Vodafone) in presence of Gaurav Bidhuri, Bronze Winner at World Boxing Championship 2017. With the help of the free Wi-Fi bus shelter, you will be able to enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi for up to 20 minutes per day.

The launch of the new bus shelter assumes importance with the Telecom regulator and Government giving green signal to establish a hotspot Wi-Fi network across the country as a part of the Digital India campaign. The main attraction of the service is that the Wi-Fi service can be availed by users irrespective of telecom operator they are using. If you are using BSNL, you can make use of the free Wi-Fi network inside the bus shelter at Sector 18.

The main purpose of the establishment of free Wi-Fi enabled bus shelter at Sector 18, Noida is because of the fact that the place witnesses a heavy influx of people during the entire day. Previously, the company opened free Wi-Fi bus shelter in Sector 14 Gurugram and Huda City Centre.

Vodafone Wi-Fi Hot-spot network is also available at 116 prime locations of Delhi-NCR. It includes popular marketplaces, malls, supermarkets, colleges, and hospitals. Moreover, the company also launched 20 minutes of free Wi-Fi service at Dilli Haat (INA Market), Fortis Hospital (Gurugram) and Khan Market. You can also access the Wi-Fi service from all Vodafone stores across Delhi NCR.

As a Vodafone customer, you can enjoy up to 10GB of Wi-Fi data for RED postpaid customers free of cost. If you have 3G/4G data packs with recharge of up to Rs. 255, you will be eligible for 1GB of Wi-Fi data.

Commenting on the development, Alok Verma, Business Head, Vodafone Delhi-NCR disclosed that the company is committed to contributing towards making Noida a Smart City.
