Micromax has launched the Micromax Canvas Infinity Pro smartphone at Rs. 14000. The main highlight of the Micromax Canvas Infinity Pro is the integration of a dual selfie camera coupled with an 18:9 display. Nowadays, several manufacturers have been releasing new smartphones with 18:9 display. Hence, the addition of this display by Micromax doesn’t come as a surprise.

Commenting on the release, Shubhodip Pal, Micromax disclosed that the Canvas Infinity Pro is not a premium smartphone but includes all the elements of a handset such as a bezel-less display, dual front cameras, and a large battery. Pal also added that the device is not only a complete package but also budget-friendly.


The Micromax Canvas Infinity Pro has been equipped with a 5.7-inch HD bezel-less display with a resolution of 1440×720 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio. You will be able to browse the web and apps easily with the large display. Moreover, the display offers a brightness of 450nits, which is high for a smartphone.


Powered by a Snapdragon 430 processor, the Micromax Canvas Infinity Pro features 4GB RAM coupled with 64GB expandable internal storage. A powerful 3000mAh battery supplies the required power for the handset. The battery is capable of delivering up to 20 hours of talk time and over 430 hours of standby time on a single charge.


Let’s talk about the camera. On the rear, you will find a 16MP sensor paired with LED flash. The front side features dual camera comprising of 20MP and 8MP sensors respectively. The camera app is bundled with several advanced modes such as portrait and face beauty including the ability to detect objects automatically. The company disclosed that the Canvas Infinity Pro is mainly oriented for selfie lovers who are on a lookout for an advanced front-facing camera with Full Display at a budget price.

The Micromax Canvas Infinity Pro will be available at Rs. 13999 across all online and offline retail stores in India. The smartphone will compete with the likes of the upcoming Honor 7X and Redmi 5A.
