Honor released the much-awaited Honor 7X with 18:9 Full View display and dual lens camera sensor. OnePlus also recently launched OnePlus 5T with a large bezel-less display and Snapdragon 835 processor. If you look at the specifications, both Honor and OnePlus have carved a niche when it comes to the features and specifications. In this article, we will compare Honor 7X with OnePlus 5T. The Honor 7x is equipped with a 5.93-inch FHD+ Full View display with a resolution of 2160×1080 pixels. The smartphone features an edge-to-edge screen to provide an immersive visual experience. The OnePlus 5T features a 6.01-inch FHD+ Optic AMOLED display with 18:9 aspect ratio and pixel density of 401PPI.

Performance

The Honor 7X is powered by a Kirin 659 octa-core processor, 4GB RAM, and 32GB/64GB expandable internal storage. Meanwhile, the OnePlus 5T features a Snapdragon 835 processor, Adreno 540 graphics, 6/8GB RAM, and 64GB/128GB UFS 2.1 storage.

Camera

On the optics front, the Honor 7X is equipped with a dual camera on the rear comprising of 16MP and 2MP sensors. The camera also provides support for Portrait mode and PDAF. Honor has integrated updated algorithm in such a way to offer ultra-fast focus time. You will be able to snap images quickly. The front side features an 8MP sensor with a unique Effects functionality. The camera also includes a Gesture control functionality using which you can capture selfies quickly. The OnePlus 5T features dual camera sensors consisting of 16MP and 20MP sensors with support for dual LED Flash. On the front, you will find a 16MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture.

Operating platform

Unlike the Honor 6X, the Honor 7X is pre-loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat on top of EMUI 5.1 interface. When it comes to the OnePlus 5T, the smartphone ships with OxygenOS based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. You will be able to work with all the latest features such as split-screen, improved multitasking, and enhanced power saving mode via Doze.

Battery

While the Honor 7X ships with a 3340mAh battery, the OnePlus 5T is powered by a 3300mAh battery with dash charging support. As you can see, the Honor 7X includes a slightly higher battery. However, the presence of dash charging battery is a killer feature included with OnePlus 5T.

Pricing

The Honor 7X is available in 4GB RAM variant. However, there are two different storage models. The 32GB is available for Rs. 12999 and the 64GB storage variant has been priced at Rs. 15999. As part of the launch offer, Airtel is providing exciting 90GB data free of cost. Moreover, Honor also provides freebies for all customers who order the device on December 7. Talking about the OnePlus 5T, the 64GB storage model is available for Rs. 32999 and the 128GB have been priced at Rs. 37999.

Verdict

Even though OnePlus 5T includes a slightly higher display than the Honor 7X, you will not notice any difference. Hence, the Honor 7X will be a perfect choice for budget-friendly customers. The high capacity dual camera sensors included with OnePlus 5T is a huge plus point. However, the Honor 7X is also capable of capturing brilliant images. You can easily buy two units of Honor 7X in place of OnePlus 5T. The Honor 7X is a premium smartphone for people who would like to experience bezel-less experience at a price they can afford.
