LG V30+ with FullVision Display Launched: Everything you want to know

LG has released the much-awaited LG V30+ smartphone in Aurora Black and Cloud silver color variants at an event held in New Delhi. The main attraction of the LG V30+ is the integration of a FullVision display coupled with dual rear cameras. Moreover, the smartphone features a 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC audio powered by B&O. You will find B&O Play earphones along with the product package.

Display

The LG V30+ is equipped with a 6-inch QHD+ FullVision OLED display with a resolution of 2880×1440 pixels and 638PPI. Moreover, the display is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5, which prevents scratches. The addition of HDR10 standard is an added bonus.

Performance

The LG V30+ is powered by a Snapdragon 835 processor (Yes, the same chipset as in Galaxy S8), 4GB RAM alongside 128GB of expandable internal storage. The processor runs at a clock speed of 2.45GHz and 1.9GHz (four cores each), which is capable of running all the tasks. With hybrid dual-SIM configuration, the LG V30+ is pre-loaded with Android 7.1.2 Nougat. You will work with LG UX 6.0 user interface, which ships with plenty of features. The fingerprint sensor is housed on the rear side. A 3300mAh battery supplies the required power to the smartphone.

Camera

The main highlight of the LG V30+ is the integration of a dual camera mechanism on the rear comprising of 16MP and 13MP sensors respectively. The 16MP camera features 1/3.09-inch sensor with f/1.6 aperture and a 71-degree field of view lens. The another 13MP carries a 1/3.4-inch sensor with a 120-degree field of view. The front-facing camera offers a 5MP sensor with a f/2.2 aperture and a 90-degree wide angle lens. In addition to dual-LED flash, the rear camera also provides support for laser autofocus. Interestingly, the LED Flash is enclosed with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 to prevent damages.

Connectivity

The LG V30+ provides support for 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS, A-GPS including fast charging USB Type-C port. The device also includes a traditional headphone port. The device also includes all the standard sensors. The phone is also resistant to water and dust via IP68 technology paired with a MIL-STD-810G rating.

Price
