Xiaomi recently released Redmi Y1 and Redmi Y1 Lite smartphones, which will be available exclusively on Amazon today at 12 PM. If you would like to purchase a budget-friendly smartphone, you should check out the Redmi Y1 series.
According to Amazon, the smartphones will be available on first come first serve basis or as long as stocks last. Hence, you should add the phone immediately to the cart when the clock ticks 12 PM and complete the checkout process within 15 minutes. It is also advisable to save the required funds on Amazon Pay Balance so that you can check out quickly without waiting to enter payment related information.
We don’t have any information as to how many units of smartphones are available for sale. If the smartphones are added to the cart by customers, you will have to join a waitlist.
If a customer fails to complete the required payment process within 15 minutes, you will get an opportunity to grab the device. However, it will depend on the number of customers on the waitlist. If you are selected from the waitlist, you will get three minutes to add the smartphones to the shopping cart and 15 minutes to finish the transaction.
The highlight of the Redmi Y1 Lite is the addition of a big display coupled with powerful performance. Talking about the Redmi Y1, the smartphone features a 16MP front camera with selfie light. In addition to the Y1 series, Amazon is also selling Mi Band HRX edition for Rs. 1299 and Mi headphones from Rs. 599.

The Redmi Y1 is available in both 3GB and 4GB RAM variants with 32GB and 64GB expandable internal storage capacities. The smartphone features a 5.5-inch HD display, Snapdragon 435 processor, 13MP rear camera, 16MP front camera, Android 7.1.2 Nougat powered by a 3080mAh battery. The rear camera offers a 5-element lens with f/2.0 aperture and PDAF support.
