Misfit has launched the touch-enabled smartwatch named Misfit Vapor in Rose Gold and Jet Black color variants at Rs. 14495. The highlight of the Misfit Vapor is that the fitness tracker is integrated with Android Wear 2.0 operating platform. Moreover, the Misfit Vapor features a 44mm satin-finished brushed stainless steel upper casing and will be available exclusively via Flipkart.
The Misfit Vapor offers a conventional round face, which looks similar to that of the competing products available in the market. The display flaunts a 1.39-inch rounded AMOLED display with a 326PPI pixel density. The smartwatch is designed in such a way to provide a premium feel with metallic edges.
Talking about the internals, the Misfit Vapor is powered by a Snapdragon 2100 processor, 4GB RAM and is water-resistant up to 50 meters. In addition to the accelerometer, the Misfit Vapor smartwatch also provides support for gyroscope, altimeter, optical heart rate sensor and GPS. The tracker also ships with a microphone.
The integrated touch bezel enables you to navigate various functions and applications included on the watch face easily. It is also possible to respond to notifications without compromising the display content.
With the help of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, you can easily establish connectivity with your smartphone. You can extract all the data captured by the smartwatch to your smartphone.
The Misfit Vapor smartwatch includes a standalone music player with an internal storage that establishes connectivity directly with the wireless headphones. You can easily view and track heart rate with the integrated sensor.
The GPS embedded into the smartwatch is capable of displaying run and activity routes with detailed metrics and stats. The virtual touch bezel included with the watch helps you to scroll and navigate contents. You can easily charge the Vapor tracker using the magnetic charger. The battery will normally last for several days depending upon the usage.
The Vapor tracker manufactured by Misfit will be compatible with all Android 4.3 and iOS 9 and above smartphones. It took 12 months for the company to release the gadget in India after its initial launch at CES 2017. The tracker is currently available at $199 in the US. The company has established an exclusive partnership with Flipkart to push the Vapor smartwatch in India.
