Chuwi is gearing up to release Chuwi Hi9 tablet within the next few days. The main highlight of the Chuwi Hi9 is that the tablet will be pre-loaded with Android Nougat. The company has been delivering a wide range of Windows tablets and laptops including dual-boot tablets.
The premium quality Chuwi Hi9 with Android Nougat will set new benchmarks in the shrinking tablet segment. You will not find tablets loaded with Android Nougat. The addition of Nougat by Chuwi is a step in right direction.
Chuwi Hi9 is equipped with an 8.4-inch OGS fully laminated JDI 2.5D glass display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. Moreover, the display features seamless edges with ergonomic and aesthetic beauty. The tablet will be designed in such a way that the surface will be smooth to touch and you will be able to easily swipe your fingers easily.
On the internals, the Chuwi Hi9 is powered by an MTK 8173 quad-core processor running at a clock speed of 1.9GHz, PowerVR GX6250 graphics pre-loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat. The device features 4GB RAM coupled with 64GB eMMC 5.1 expandable internal storage. You will be able to extend up to 128GB storage.
The company sources revealed to us that the 2.5D fully laminated display will be able to deliver impressive gaming performance. Powered by a 5000mAh battery, the smartphone ships with one micro-USB, memory card slot in addition to traditional headphone slot.
The Chuwi Hi9 is expected to release by the end of December 2017. However, we don’t have any confirmation about the expected cost of the tablet. Chuwi also disclosed that once the sale of the Corebook reaches $100K, the RAM will be automatically upgraded from 6GB to 8GB free of cost.
