InFocus has joined the 18:9 bandwagon with the launch of the InFocus Vision 3 smartphone. The main highlight of the InFocus Vision 3 is the integration of a 5.7-inch HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio coupled with a 4000mAh battery. Moreover, the cost of the 4G-enabled smartphone is fixed at Rs. 6999, which turns out to be the lowest in the bezel-less market. The device will be exclusively available on Amazon India.
Display
The InFocus Vision 3 is equipped with a 5.7-inch HD+ IPS ONCELL 2.5D curved glass display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The display features a resolution of 1440×720 pixels, which is lower than the conventional bezel-less displays. However, for the price, you can’t expect more.
Performance
Powered by a MediaTek MTK6737H processor, the InFocus Vision 3 features 2GB RAM, 16GB expandable internal storage with a 4000mAh battery. It is possible to extend the battery up to 64GB. The processor is capable of running at 1.3GHz, which helps you work with apps moderately.
Camera
While the rear side is equipped with a dual camera mechanism comprising of 13MP and 5MP camera sensors, the front-facing camera offers an 8MP sensor. The secondary camera on the rear comes with a 120-degree wide-angle lens. InFocus has integrated Dualfie feature, which automatically blurs the background of the front camera. It is more or less identical to that of the Nokia’s Bothie feature. The company will push an update to enable face recognition technology and also implemented a one key shortcut option for select apps.
Operating Platform
The InFocus Vision 3 is pre-loaded with Smile UX on top of the Android 7.0 Nougat. The company confirmed during the launch event that Android Oreo update will be available before the end of Q2 2018.
Connectivity
In addition to 4G VoLTE, the InFocus Vision 3 also provides support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth including a traditional headphone port. Moreover, the device also includes sensors such as an accelerometer, ambient light, fingerprint sensor and proximity sensor.
Pricing
Priced at Rs. 6999, the InFocus Vision 3 will be available on December 20 exclusively on Amazon India. We don’t have any information about when the smartphone will be available in other online outlets. We will keep you updated. Stay tuned.
