Honor has announced that the Honor 7X has become the Number 1 best seller during the Christmas sale on Amazon. The company sources revealed that they are excited with the huge response and they have extended the open sale of the recently released Honor 7X until January 5 instead of December 29. While the 32GB variant of the Honor 7X is priced at Rs. 12999, the 64GB variant will cost Rs. 15999. According to reports, nearly 40 million units of Honor 7X has been sold since the launch in London.
The main highlight of the Honor 7X is the addition of a 5.93-inch bezel-less FHD display with 18:9 aspect ratio. You will not find any bezels on the left and right-hand side of the smartphone. Talking about the internals, the Honor 7X ships with Kirin 659 processor, 4GB RAM, 32GB/64GB/128GB expandable internal storage pre-loaded with Android 7.1.1 Nougat. A 3340mAh battery supplies the required power to the smartphone.
The rear side is equipped with a dual camera comprising of 16MP and 2MP sensors with support for LED Flash, Face detection, HDR, and PDAF. It is possible to shoot FHD videos at 30fps. The selfie camera boasts 8MP sensor with LED Flash. You can expect high-quality images with Honor 7X since the previous counterpart received rave reviews when it comes to the imaging segment.
In addition to 4G VoLTE, the Honor 7X also provides support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, dual Nano-SIM coupled with Micro SD slot in a hybrid format. Moreover, you will find the fingerprint sensor on the rear side of the device using which you can easily unlock the phone quickly.
The integration of Android Nougat is a big bonus since it’s difficult to upgrade in Honor devices. We have Honor 6X and finding it difficult to upgrade to Android Nougat. The default upgrade tool doesn’t work and the official download page doesn’t have the required Android Nougat upgrade file.
Even though the open sale was said to be held from December 23 to 29, the company has extended the sale up to January 5 based on the stellar response. Amazon is offering no-cost EMI, which will be available up to 12 months. If you purchase 7X model of the Honor, you will be eligible to avail 90GB data free of cost. If you download and sign in to the Kindle app, you will receive 80% discount on ebooks for purchases up to Rs. 300. Honor also announced they have thrown open service centers across all major cities in India.
