Here is the list of smartphones expected to ship with Snapdragon 845 processor

With the year 2017 coming to an end within the next few days, there are talks on the town about the rumored release of several smartphones that are powered by Snapdragon 845 processor. According to rumors, the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ have been confirmed to ship with Snapdragon 845 processor.

There are unconfirmed reports that the Galaxy S9 series will be announced in the upcoming CES 2018 instead of MWC 2018. LG is also gearing up to launch LG G7 smartphone during the sidelines of the CES 2018.

In addition to the Samsung Galaxy S9 series, the Samsung W2019 flip phone, LG G7, LG V40, HTC U12 will most likely release with the new power-saving Snapdragon 845 processor. We also expect the addition of Snapdragon 845 processor in Sony XZ Pro-A, Xiaomi Mi Mix 3, Xiami Mi 7 and all other Xiaomi branded smartphones in 2018.

OnePlus is well known for the release of smartphones with latest chipsets. Hence, you can surely expect Snapdragon 845 processor along with OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T. The GizChina article also reveals that the Google Pixel 3 XL followed by Motorola Moto Z 2019 will also ship with Snapdragon 845 processor. We believe that the premium smartphones manufactured by Nokia, HTC, Huawei, Honor, Oppo and Vivo smartphones will also be powered by the new processor.

That being said, all the premium smartphones expected to hit the retail shelves in 2018 will have the new processor because it offers improved power saving features and capabilities. Moreover, the newly designed chipset will emit low heat without sacrificing performance.

If you look at the list of smartphones in 2017, they all shipped with Snapdragon 835 processor starting with Samsung Galaxy S9. Hence, we can assume that the upcoming smartphones in 2018 will ear Snapdragon 845 processor. However, you should accept the fact only with a pinch of salt since there is no official confirmation.
