The 4G variant of the Nokia 3310 smartphone has surfaced on TENAA. The listing exposes the core specifications of the upcoming device. The Nokia 3310 4G with model number TA-1077 has been exclusively designed to deliver an improved experience via the integrated dual-core processor.
The main attraction of the handset is that it will ship with enhanced RAM and storage capacity when compared with the currently available Nokia 3310. According to reports, the Nokia 3310 4G model will be released during the upcoming MWC 2018 towards the end of February.
Upon inspection of the TENAA listing, we can infer that the Nokia 3310 4G variant is designed to support a wide range of bands such as Band 38, 39, 40 and 40 including standards like GSM, TD-LTE, and TD-SCDMA. We can expect the device to offer support for few 4G networks in India. As per reports, HMD Global will release a new model to cater to the demands of the Indian market.
Talking about the specifications, the Nokia 3310 4G features a 2.4-inch display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 256MB RAM paired with 512MB internal storage. If you compare the previously released Nokia 3310, the device was shipped with a 360MHz single-core processor with 64GB RAM. Based on rumors, the upcoming Nokia 3210 will be pre-loaded with YunOS 5.2.0 and will be powered by a 1200mAh battery.
Even though the memory and storage have been enhanced, the new Nokia 3310 4G will have the same design as the currently available counterpart. If rumors are to be believed, HMD Global will unveil the Nokia 3310 4G model during the MWC 2018 in Barcelona. The company is scheduled to conduct an event on January 19 in China. We can expect the launch of several new Android smartphones, which includes 2018 editions of the Nokia 6 and Nokia 8 smartphones.
