Asus has permanently slashed the prices of a wide range of Asus Zenfone series such as ZenFone 3 (5.2, 5.5), ZenFone Max, ZenFone 3 Max (5.2, 5.5) and ZenFone Go (5.0, 5.5). In a statement released to the press, the Taiwan-based company revealed that the price reduction will reflect on Amazon, Flipkart, Snapdeal, Asus exclusive stores including all retail multi-brand shopping malls across India.
The main idea of the company is to make available all the smartphones for a wide cross-section of people across the country. Moreover, budget-conscious consumers will be able to purchase Android-based smartphones easily.
Commenting on the development, Peter Chang, Region Head – South Asia & Country Manager, ASUS India disclosed that India is one of the biggest markets for the company. They are committed to accelerating the rapid growth of the economy. The ZenFones is well-known for its attraction among the masses because of the unique build quality.

Chang added that the company will focus on two pillars. The first pillar is to provide the best technology that is optimized to work in India. The second pillar is to sell smartphones at attractive prices. The aggressive pricing is required to enable ZenFones to be the most preferred smartphone choice among consumers based in India.
