Acer has added one more Chromebook to its ever-growing product range. Dubbed as Chromebook 11 CB311, the new laptop ships with USB-C port with the ability to deliver up to 10 hours of battery life on a single charge of 100 percent. The highlight of the Acer Chromebook 11 CB311 is the addition of a fanless design, which helps the device to work silently in any environment.
The Acer Chromebook 11 CB311 is equipped with dual USB 3.0 ports including dual USB 3.1 Type-C ports. On the display front, Acer has released both standard and non-touch display options with the capability to run Android apps available on Google Play Store.
The disadvantage of Acer Chromebook 11 is the low resolution of 1366×768 for the 11.6-inch display. To recall, the previously launched Chromebook 11 C771 was also shipped with the same resolution. The device is mainly oriented for students, who wish to carry a portable device to the classes. With a weight of 2.43 pounds, the laptop measures 0.71-inch thickness and looks slim. Hence, you can easily carry the Chromebook to any place on the go.
Powered by an Intel Celeron processor, the Acer Chromebook 11 CB311 will be available in both 2GB and 4GB RAM variants. The 2GB RAM model will have a 16GB storage, while the 4GB variant bears a 32GB storage. Moreover, the Chromebook also includes a web camera with support for HDR coupled with dual stereo speakers and an integrated microphone.
If you visit CES 2018, you should navigate to the Acer booth to test drive the Chromebook. You will be able to work directly with the device and snap pictures. Acer Chromebook will be available in retail stores in March 2018 at a starting price of $249 for the basic model.
