HMD Global has released Nokia 6 (2018) smartphone in Black and Silver color variants at CNY 1499, which equates to $143. Touted as a successor to Nokia 6, the newly launched Nokia 6 (2018) is available for pre-order in China. The smartphone will start shipping from January 10. The Finland-based company hasn’t announced the exact launch date of the smartphone in other regions.
The Nokia 6 (2018) features a 5.5-inch FHD 2.5D curved glass display, which enables you to experience stunning visuals. Moreover, the screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass, which prevent damages caused due to scratches.
On the internals, the Nokia 6 (2018) is equipped with a Snapdragon 630 processor, Adreno 508 graphics coupled with 4GB RAM. The chipset runs at a clock speed of 2.2GHz, which helps you to perform tasks easily. The smartphone is available in both 32GB and 64GB expandable internal storage capacities.
While the rear side offers a 16MP sensor, the front-facing camera ships with an 8MP sensor. The rear camera provides support for autofocus, dual tone LED flashlight and PDAF. The selfie camera ships with 84-degree wide angle lens for maximum coverage of people on all side. Interestingly, both rear and front camera ships with f/2.0 aperture.
The Nokia 6 (2018) is powered by a 3000mAh battery, which is capable of delivering a standby time of over four days upon normal usage. Moreover, the integration of fast charging support helps you to quickly charge the device.
The smartphone is pre-loaded with Android 7.1.1 Nougat using which you can work with all the latest features such as split screen, improved multitasking and enhanced power saving mode via Doze. You can also upgrade to Android 8.0 Oreo. Hence, your purchase will not go waste.
In addition to 4G VoLTE, the Nokia 6 (2018) provides support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, HSPA+, EDGE, GPRS alongside a traditional headphone port. Moreover, the handset is embedded with a fingerprint sensor on the rear.
The Nokia 6 (2018) is priced at CNY 1499 ($143) and is currently available for purchase on a pre-order basis. The device will start to ship from the warehouse starting January 10.
