Asus ZenFone Max Plus (M1) Launched In North America: All you want to know

Asus has announced the launch of the Asus ZenFone Max Plus (M1) smartphone in North America during the CES 2018. The main highlight of the ZenFone Max Plus is the integration of a 5.7-inch Fullview display coupled with a powerful 4130mAh battery.

According to Asus, the ZenFone Max Plus enable photography lovers to view a larger picture with a wide range of options for beautification. Moreover, the smartphone is designed in a stylish metal body, which is not only ergonomic but also comfortable for usage on the go.

Display

The Asus ZenFone Max Plus (M1) is equipped with a 5.65-inch FHD IPS display with 18:9 aspect ratio and 400cd/m2 brightness. With a resolution of 2160×1080 pixels, the handset offers 79.8 percent screen to body ratio with Glove Touch support.

Performance

Powered by a MediaTek MT6750T processor, the Asus ZenFone Max Plus (M1) is integrated with a Mali T860 graphics processor, up to 4GB RAM alongside up to 64GB internal storage. The device is pre-loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat on top of Zen UI 4.0 interface. To begin with, the ZenFone Max Plus will be available in 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant.

Camera

The rear side is equipped with a dual 16MP and 8MP sensors with f/2.0 aperture, LED Flash and PDAF. On the front, you will have a 16MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture. The 8MP secondary snapper on the rear features a 120-degree wide-angle capability, which enables you to snap 200% wider field of view when compared with standard smartphones. You will be able to capture images with wide scenes easily and also by accommodating several people. The highlight of the camera is the addition of PixelMaster 4.0 technology with HDR, Beauty mode, Super resolution, Panorama, Timelapse and GIF animation capabilities.

Battery

The Asus ZenFone Max Plus (M1) will be powered by a 4130mAh battery with up to 26 day standby time. The phone will deliver a 3G talk time of up to 26 hours and video playback of up to 13 hours. Asus reveals that the device carries 2X lifespan functionality with PowerMaster capability, which will not only optimize battery life but also ensure the safety of the phone.

The handset also provides support for reverse charging using which you can charge other devices. The device includes automated temperature monitoring, overvoltage protection including automated maintenance settings. Moreover, the phone also ships with Face unlock and fingerprint technology in addition to 5-magnet speaker.

Pricing

The newly launched Asus ZenFone Max Plus (M1) will be available in 3GB RAM and 32GB storage capacity at $229. You will have an option to choose either Deepsea Black or Azure Silver color options.
