WhatsApp has updated the beta version with new and improved features. However, the update is released for Windows Phone and not for Android. If you make use of the WhatsApp Beta for Windows Phone, you will be able to work with the new features. After the installation of the update, the version number will be changed to 2.18.2 with enhanced features.
The latest release of the WhatsApp Beta for Windows Phone includes a refreshed user interface to enable you to manage stickers. According to Windows Latest, this option is disabled for public consumption since it is being tested internally by the product team members.
After the installation of the WhatsApp Beta for Windows Phone update, you will find a new tab adjacent to the GIF tab to enable you to open the Stickers section. The UI includes two new buttons namely Recent button and Starred Button, which you will be able to locate by clicking on the stickers tab.
While the Recent button helps you to locate all the recently delivered stickers, the starred button enables you to fetch all the stickers located under starred. With these options, you can quickly share stickers with other people. The new updates will be made available for all Windows Phone users within the next few days.
We expect more improvements to the user interface when the WhatsApp Beta for Windows Phone is released as the final version. To work with the new features, you need to download WhatsApp Beta app from the Microsoft Store.
