Oppo is gearing up to launch the much-awaited Oppo A83 smartphone at a price you can afford on January 17. According to sources, the main highlight of the Oppo A83 is the integration of a bezel-less display and will be priced below Rs. 15000. The availability of a smartphone with a bezel-less display below Rs. 15000 is seen with great importance.
Nowadays, several manufacturers have been working hard to release new smartphones with the trendy bezel-less display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The release of a budget-friendly smartphone with 18:9 display will compete directly with the likes of Honor 7X.
The launch event of Oppo A83 will be held in India on January 17 and the relevant media invites have been mailed to all media outlets. On the specifications front, the Oppo A83 features a 5.7-inch FHD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio, MediaTek Helio P23 processor, 4GB RAM, 32GB expandable internal storage, a 13MP rear camera coupled with an 8MP front camera. Like in the case of all other Oppo smartphones, the Opo A83 will also provide support for LED Flash.
The main highlight of Oppo A83 is the integration of a facial recognition functionality. However, the smartphone will not ship with a fingerprint sensor. According to reviewers who have tested the Chinese variant, the facial unlock is one of the best feature integrated with the handset and works well. It is possible to unlock the handset quickly.
Powered by a 3090mAh battery, the Oppo A83 is pre-loaded with Android 7.1.1 Nougat coupled with 4G VoLTE and dual SIM card support. The handset is designed using a metal unibody and also includes a USB Type-C port using which can charge quickly. Moreover, users will be able to transfer data quickly because of the addition of the USB Type-C port. The Oppo A83 will be available in Gold and Black color variants and will be priced around Rs. 14000.
