Nokia expected to have a big bash at MWC 2018

HMD Global is gearing up to announce and showcase a wide range of Nokia branded smartphones at the upcoming MWC 2018. The company will most probably launch Nokia 9 and Nokia 1 loaded with Android Oreo Go edition.

According to Juho Sarvikas, Chief Product Officer at HMD Global, the product team is currently busy planning MWC 2018. He also apologizes to the fan for the radio silence. He also reveals that something awesome will happen during MWC 2018. However, Sarvikas didn’t reveal the list of smartphones expected to launch during the event.

Based on the rumors, HMD Global is expected to release Nokia 1, Nokia 4, Nokia 7, and Nokia 8 (2018) including Nokia 9 in 2018. It remains to be seen as to whether the company will release all of these devices during the event. In 2017, the company launched Nokia 3310, which generated huge hype among the community. We can expect the launch of the 4G variant of the Nokia 3310 since it emerged on TENAA pre-loaded with YonOS, which is based on Android.

The upcoming Nokia 9 will be equipped with a 5.5-inch OLED display, Snapdragon 835 processor, 6GB RAM, 128GB storage powered by 3250mAh battery. The rear side will have dual camera sensors comprising of 12MP and 13MP sensors. The handset will be pre-loaded with Android 8.0 Oreo. The device will be tagged as premium on par with the iPhone X.

We don’t have any confirmation about the exact display size but it should be between 4 to 5-inch because of the low-end internal specifications.
