TCL recently announced a new roadmap for the Alcatel smartphones at the CES 2018. The company didn’t announce any smartphones during the event. The latest news is that Alcatel 5 and Alcatel 3V has surfaced on the official website of Amazon France.
Based on the Amazon France listing, we infer that both Alcatel 5 and Alcatel 3V will be released on February 26. If you pre-order the smartphones today, the device will be shipped on or after February 26.
The Alcatel 5 (EUR 229.99) with 5.7-inch 18:9 IPS HD+ 2.5D display and 32GB internal storage. The big advantage of the Alcatel 5 is the addition of a bezel-less 18:9 display designed with the curved body and metallic finish. The device is capable of switching from portrait mode to super wide angle when detecting more than 3 faces.
Powered by a 3000mAh battery, the Alcatel 5 comes with an octa-core processor, 3GB RAM, and expansion capability up to 128GB using a memory card. The device will be pre-loaded with Android Nougat and will provide support for 4G VoLTE. The rear side will have a 12MP sensor with a fingerprint sensor.
Talking about the Alcatel 3V (EUR 189.99), the smartphone offers a 6-inch bezel-less IPS FHD+ display paired with 16GB storage. The phone is designed with an elegant and luxurious case with a 3D curved back.
The rear side provides dual camera sensors comprising of 12MP and 2MP sensors. The Alcatel 3V will be powered by a 3000mAH battery loaded with Android O.
