Honor 9 Lite will be available for sale in Glacier Grey, Midnight Black and Sapphire Blue color variants via Flipkart at 12 PM today. If you miss the date, don’t fret. You will be able to still purchase the Honor 9 Lite on January 22 and 23. While the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage is priced at Rs. 10999, the 4GB RAM paired with 64GB storage will be available at Rs. 14999.
As part of the launch offer, Flipkart will bundle a back cover. Moreover, you will be eligible to avail a 10 percent cash back if you purchase using Citibank debit and credit cards in addition to exchange offers.
On the specifications front, the Honor 9 Lite is equipped with a 5.65-inch FHD+ (1080×2160, 428PPI, 18:9) IPS display, HiSilicon Kirin 659 processor, 3GB/4GB RAM, 32GB/64GB expandable (up to 256GB) internal storage loaded with EMUI 8.0 user interface.
Commenting on the launch, P. Sanjeev, Vice President, Huawei Consumer Business Group disclosed that the company is delighted to showcase the Honor brand on Flipkart. The ability to bring Honor 9 Lite to India immediately after the launch in China is a step in right direction. The company hasn’t released the device in any other markets except India soon after China launch.
The main highlight of the Honor 9 Lite is the addition of four camera sensors. The rear side features a dual camera comprising of 13MP and 2MP sensors with support for PDAF and LED Flash. The front camera also ships with 13MP and 2MP dual sensors with LED Flash. The disadvantage of Honor 9 Lite is the integration of dual nano-SIM card. If you work with micro-SIM, you will not be able to use the device.
Powered by a 3000mAh battery, the Honor 9 Lite provides support for 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth including a traditional headphone port. Moreover, the smartphone also offers sensors such as ambient light, proximity sensor, and the usual accelerometer.
