If rumors are to be believed, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 will launch in India before the end of February. The news assumes great significance after Clinton Jeff has promised an exciting February, as reported by Telecom Talk. The news can be believed to a great extent since Jeff happens to be the Xiaomi India PR lead.
Even though Xiaomi will launch Redmi Note 5, there is a possibility of postponing the release since the company will probably launch Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus initially. There is also a possibility of the launch of Redmi Note 5 because the company would like to kickstart 2018 with a bang.
The main reason for the delay in the launch of Redmi Note 5 is attributed to the processor issue. The sources reveal that company is in n mood to integrate Snapdragon 630 processor, which is only a slight upgrade to Snapdragon 625 processor as found in the previous counterpart. The Lei Jun-owned company is gearing up to embed a powerful new processor. The chances of Helio finding a spot can’t be ruled out but it is a remote possibility because Xiaomi doesn’t like to deviate from the past year trend.
That being said, the upcoming Redmi Note 5 will ship with a 5.5-inch FHD bezel-less display with 18:9 aspect ratio. Nowadays, manufacturers have been releasing new devices with 18:9 display and hence Xiaomi will also follow the suit. We can also expect up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The device will ship with an enhanced graphics processor. Like in the case of the competing handsets, Xiaomi will also push the display resolution to FHD+, although chances are less.
You should accept the above facts only with a pinch of salt since we don’t have any official confirmation. We will continue to keep track of the developments and provide you with updates. Stay tuned.
