LG has launched the budget-friendly LG Aristo 2 smartphone. The main attraction of the smartphone is the integration of a 5-inch HD display alongside Android Nougat. Touted to provide support for 4G, the LG Aristo 2 will be available for $139 if you are not opting for mobile carrier plans. You can buy the device via MetroPCS at $59 after rebate starting January 23.
On the specifications front, the LG Aristo 2 is equipped with a 5-inch HD IPS display, Snapdragon 425 processor, Adreno 308 graphics, 2GB RAM paired with 16GB expandable internal storage. The chipset runs at a clock speed of 1.4GHz, which helps you to work with normal apps. It is possible to extend the storage up to 32GB via the microSD card.
The rear side features a 13MP sensor with support for autofocus and LED Flash. On the front, the LG Aristo 2 carries a 5MP sensor, which helps you to work with video calling and selfie-snapping. The integrated 2140mAh battery is capable of delivering a backup of up to 17 hours. The addition of Android 7.0 Nougat helps you to work with all the features such as split-screen multitasking, improved notifications, and enhanced power saving mode via Doze.
In addition to the fingerprint sensor located on the rear, the LG Aristo 2 also includes an integrated facial recognition technology. The company revealed that the face unlock functionality will enhance security. Moreover, the smartphone provides support for 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS and micro USB port.
