The images of the rumored Xiaomi Mi 6X has been leaked. Upon inspection of the leaked images, we could infer that the Xiaomi Mi 6X smartphone will most likely ship with an 18:9 display coupled with a dual rear camera placed vertically. Touted as the successor to Mi 5X, the Xiaomi Mi 6X will be available in both Gold and Black color variants. We can spot 18:9 panel on the front alongside a fingerprint sensor on the rear.
The leak emerged from Weibo and disclosed to the outside world by OnPhones reveals the vertical dual camera mechanism, which is identical to that of the iPhone X. If you look at the Mi 5X that was launched in China, the smartphone was shipped with a dual rear camera. The same device was relaunched as Mi A1 pre-loaded Android One. The leaked render also reveal the fingerprint sensor mounted on the rear side.
According to rumors, the Xiaomi Mi 6X will be equipped with a 5.99-inch full-screen display with 18:9 aspect ratio, Xiaomi Surge S2 processor, Mali G71 MP8 graphics processor paired with powerful LPDDR4 RAM and UFS 2.1 storage.
There are reports that Xiaomi Mi 6X could be probably showcased at MWC 2018 to be held in February. The chipset will run at 2.2GHz for the first four cored and 1.8GHz for the next four cores. In all probability, the Xiaomi Mi 6X will be pre-loaded with Android 8.0 Oreo. There is no point in releasing a smartphone with Android Nougat when Android Oreo is very much available.
According to Gizchina, the Xiaomi Mi 6X will also be available in Gold color variant and will carry 128GB internal storage. That said, the above facts are only based on rumors and you should accept them with a pinch of salt.
