Dell Chromebook 5190 with fast charging launched: All you need to know

Dell has added one more Chromebook to its kitty with the launch of Dell Chromebook 5190 at the annual Bett show (#BETT2018) starting at $289. Dubbed as a student-focused laptop, the Dell Chromebook 5190 will be available in both 11-inch clamshell and 2-in-1 convertible format. The company sources revealed to s that the newly launched Dell Chromebook is capable of delivering up to 13 hours of battery life.

According to Dell, the Chromebook 5190 provides an ability to withstand up to 10000 micro drops. In addition to USB Type-C connectivity, the Dell Chromebook 5190 provides support for EMR Pen, camera coupled with Intel Celeron power saving processors. The laptop will be made available in both dual and quad-core models.

The Dell Chromebook 5190 is mainly oriented for students and people working in the academic field. The device includes specially customized features for classroom scenario.

Commenting on the development, Dell disclosed that the company designed the new Chromebook to provide customized learning. The main is to enable students, teachers paired with technology to work with tandem to deliver enriched learning experience. The technology integrated into the Chromebook will help the students to access the required learning resources and other materials within a single click.

Meanwhile, Acer also launched Chromebook Spin 11, Chromebook 11 C732, and Chromebox CXI3 a the Bett show. The highlight of the Chromebook 11 C732 is the addition of touch-enabled display and water-resistant functionality via IP41 technology and is priced at $299.99. You can also bu the non-touch model at a slightly lower price of $279.99.
