If rumors are to be believed, Xiaomi is expected to launch Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S before MWC 2018. The main highlight of the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S is the integration of a bezel-less display and Android Oreo. The possibility of the release before MWC 2018 is bleak since Xiaomi is indeed participating in the event. According to Weibo post, the Lei Junowned company is gearing up to launch the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S before MWC 2018. We have no option other than to wait and watch for the events to turn shape.

The Mi Mix 2 launched b the Xiaomi was accepted well by the tech community. The Mi Mix 2S will ship with a refreshed design. However, the images leaked via Slashleaks reveal the fact that the smartphone is more or less the same as Mi Mix 2 with few minor changes.

If the leaked renders turn out to be true, the front-facing camera will be housed on the top right side of the handset. The bottom portion looks slim because of the reallocation of the front camera towards the top. On the rear, you will find a single camera lens coupled with a fingerprint sensor. The Mi Mix 2S will be designed using a ceramic body.

That said, you can expect enhanced features and specifications when compared with the currently available Mi Mix 2 such as Snapdragon 845 processor. The device will be pre-loaded with MIUI 9 based on Android Oreo, which enables you to take advantage of the latest features. On the optics front, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 will have a single camera sensor on the rear instead of dual camera mechanism.

Even though we don’t have any exact information about the launch date, we expect the Mi Mix 2S to launch before the end of February. Moreover, Xiaomi will surely showcase the device at the MWC 2018. If Snapdragon 845 processor is infused then we have to wait until March because of the possible clash with the Samsung Galaxy S9 series launch.
