Samsung has reportedly filed a series of trademark applications for Samsung Cinema TV, Samsung Cinemascope TV, Samsung Cine TV and Samsung Panoramic Sound. The news has been confirmed by the Netherlands based popular tech portal letsgodigital.
The Korea-based company has filed trademark petitions on January 23, 2018, at European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) and the portal had accessed the pictures, which reveals all details.
Upon inspection of the trademark specifications leaked via the pictures, we can infer that the application is currently under examination and has been categorized under Classification 9. The application has been created by the London-based European law firm FieldFisher LLP on behalf of Samsung Electronics.
The trademark applications filed by Samsung reveals the fact that the company is gearing Up to release a new TV, which will be capable of offering a real-life cinematic experience.
In addition to excellent picture quality, the upcoming Television sets will also offer true 360-degree cinematic sound with the release of Samsung Panoramic sound.
Interestingly, all the trademark applications have been filed under classification 9. We expect the launch of new generation TVs either during the upcoming MWC 2018 or before the end of Q2 2018. The release of Samsung Panoramic Sound is a step in right direction because users will be able to enjoy a 100 percent powerful cinema-style audio experience.
