The Xiaomi Redmi5A smartphone will be available exclusively on Flipkart at 12 PM today. Tagged as “The smartphone for everyone”, the Redmi 5A is priced at Rs. 4999 for the 2GB RAM and 16GB storage variant. If you would like to buy 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, you need to pay Rs. 6999.


The Redmi 5A is equipped with a 5-inch fully laminated HD display. The addition of the reading mode helps you to protect the eyes to a large extent.


Powered by a Snapdragon 425 processor, the Redmi 5A is available in both 2GB and 3GB RAM variants coupled with 16GB and 32GB expandable internal storage variants. It is possible to extend the storage up to 128GB, which is a big bonus. The processor is a 64-bit chipset with quad-core technology. Hence, you can expect improved speed.


The Redmi 5A offers a 13MP rear camera with support for PDAF. You will be able to capture vivid images with the ability to focus quickly. On the front, you will find a 5MP sensor, which helps you to capture moderate selfies. We can’t expect more at this price.
