Microsoft Launcher 4.6 beta for Android adds Cortana support

Microsoft Launcher

Microsoft has released Microsoft Launcher 4.6 beta version for Android with several new features and enhancements. The Microsoft Launcher 4.6 is integrated with Cortana, which helps users to work with the digital voice assistant immediately after the installation.

The advantage of Cortana integration is its ability to work in several languages in addition to English. The Cortana can be accessed directly from the dock and you will be able to perform calls, schedule meetings including modification of wallpapers. The Cortana also provides support for Intune with the ability to wipe out the data remotely. It is also possible to pin the apps that are searched. You can also pin contacts to the home dashboard.

The Redmond-based software giant revealed that the launcher is in beta format and there will be bugs. The product team will release the final version after gathering feedback from the community. That said, if you find any bugs or errors, you should report them to Microsoft.

With the help of Microsoft Launcher, you will be able to customize your Android smartphone based on your style with themes, icon packages, and wallpapers. It is possible to access calendar, documents including recent activities from within your feed with the ability to navigate photos, docs, and web pages on your Windows PC.
