Hero Electric launches electric scooter with improved features

Hero Electric has released a wide range of electric two-wheelers scooter. The company has launched two electric bicycles and one scooter. Codenamed as AXL-HE20, the newly launched Hero electric scooter looks similar to that of a motoscooter. In addition to an apron-mounted headlamp, the Hero electric scooter also ships with alloy wheels, front disc brake, and a long-travel telescopic front forks.

The Hero electric scooter is powered by a 4kW motor, which is capable of delivering 6kW aka 8.15PS of peak power. According to company sources, the Hero scooter provides a top speed of 85kmph, which is the best among the industry standards. The battery infused with the scooter offers a capable range of 110km.

The embedded regenerative braking system is designed in such a way to automatically charge every time you go for a ride. The company claims that the electric scooter will charge within four hours from 0 to 100 percent.

Commenting on the development, Sohinder Gill, CEO, Hero Electric disclosed that the company is committed to providing vehicles with sustainable mobility. The product team has designed products to cater to the latest technology and requirements.

Gill added that the vision of the company is to double sales over the next five years by introducing trending products. The target will be achieved by adding new products and also by establishing new manufacturing plants in several cities across India. He added that the company is committed to Make in India initiative.
