Maruti Suzuki is gearing up to launch a new model of the popular Swift at Auto Expo 2018. According to reports, the much-awaited Maruti Swift will be most likely priced at Rs. 5.83 lakh, which is Rs. 60000 more than the currently available model. The price of the advanced model might shoot up to Rs. 8 lakh. The company has started booking for the new Swift model and can be made by paying Rs. 11000.
The new Maruti Swift vehicle is designed with advanced capabilities based on the innovative fifth generation Heartect platform. The technology integrated into the Swift is designed to enhance the power to weight ratio, which will ultimately lead to an improved acceleration in performance. The end result is that users will be able to experience an awesome driving experience.
The new vehicle is not only wider but also compact with a long wheelbase. The vehicle offers extra cabin space, headroom including luggage space. According to the company sources, the next generation Swift will be exclusively manufactured at its Gujarat plant under Make in India initiative. Hence, the overall waiting time for the delivery of the vehicle will be around 3 to 4 months.
At the Auto Expo 2018, Maruti will also showcase Concept FutureS, which is a compact vehicle. It features SUV-centric capabilities and will set new benchmarks in the auto segment.
