The provider is planning to extend the services to other parts before the end of 2018. The launch of 4G service from Kerala is a step in right direction and will boost the development efforts of the State Government.

It is to be noted that the company hasn’t purchased any new Spectrum. Hence, it remains to be seen as to when the company will launch the 4G mobile service in other parts of India. The company sources revealed to the media that the 4G service will launch in other regions of Kerala by the end of 2018.

According to TelecomTalk, the 4G mobile service offered by BSNL are based on the existing spectrum. You will be able to work with premium 4G services by making use of the existing 3G-enabled SIM cards.

Moreover, the company also established a strategic partnership with N-Cell Telecom and T-Mobile to provide International roaming services in the US and Nepal.
