Xiaomi launched the much-awaited Mi TV 4 smart television in India at an attractive price of Rs. 39999. If you compare Samsung, Sony, LG, the pricing fixed by Xiaomi is unbeatable and attractive. Moreover, the Mi TV 4 ships with several new features not found in expensive smart televisions. In addition to Mi TV 4, the company also launched the Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro smartphones with improved specifications.

The main attraction of the Mi TV 4 is the integration of a 55-inch (138.8 cms) bezel-less display with a thickness of 4.9mm. According to Xiaomi, the Mi TV is touted as the world’s thinnest LED TV. During the demo, the company officials showcased both the front and rear portion. The rear side doesn’t have any thick crazy power boxes identical to that of other competing devices. The bottom portion of the rear side provides the required ports. The Mi TV can be connected via Wi-Fi to have a seamless viewing experience.

The Xiaomi Mi TV 4 provides support for HDR, Dolby+ DTS sound system, WiFi and Bluetooth 4. The company claims that the speaker system coupled with HDR will be capable of delivering a brilliant viewing experience. Under the hood, the Mi TV 4 is equipped with an Amlogic 64-bit quad-core processor, Mali T-830 graphics, 2GB RAM, 8GB internal storage.

The main advantage of Mi TV 4 is the integration of PatchWall interface, which is exclusively customized for the Indian market. The company disclosed that viewers will be able to experience 500,000 hours of content across 15 Indian languages. It also provides customized recommendations with a clean user interface.
